"Reasons to Believe"

This is going to be brief…
A couple of weeks ago I read an article in the Toronto Sun titled “Reasons to Believe” which focused on the killer-whale exhibit at Seaworld. They believe that the visitors can learn something about the nature of the species.
I want to start off with saying that these types of enclosure that the animals are kept in are not humane. There is no way that any animal can feel free in any type of confinement. I believe that all species should be in their natural environment, and be able to do things their own way… people included.
The reason I thought of SPS when reading this article is because to me Seaworld is an artificial place. All it is, is a man made place where people go in order to see what they believe is the way these animals would act in their natural environment. In other words it gives people an artificial reality of when their natural environment is.

I like that, "artifical reality of environment." But can we say that all Amusement parks, and places of entertainment are like that? Is there really any place within the city where the environment has not been socially contructed for our likeness?? Working downtown, its a world of cement, and to add environment, the city adds planters, and grass patches in court yard areas. I think this construction would also consitute as a artifical environment.
